The opt-out period will open, online at mystudentplan.ca/ridgetown/, in August 2021 and the deadline to opt-out will be September 24, 2021. Further details about the benefits programs will be sent to your uoguelph email address to notify you of the opt-out period opening and the deadline to submit.

If you are a diploma student, the credit for either/both plans will be placed on your student account by November. In the event your student account is paid in full already, you can request the credit be refunded via direct deposit into your bank account.

If you are a certificate student, the credit for either/both plans will be applied to either an outstanding F20 semester account balance, if applicable, or to your W22 semester invoice.
